DayZ 1080p Wallpaper

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

That's my second wallpaper for DayZ.

I can't show you the first one yet since some features ain't released yet, but I will post it as soon as possible !

That guy's from The Road (2009 movie), and the background picture was taken by some guy who sells his photos, I don't remember his name.

If the person in the photo is from a major motion picture (as in, he has an acting career that supports him) and the background photo is done by a professional photographer that sells photos (whether as a living or not), could we not surmise that at the very least you should give credit where it's due? You've just taken someone else's work and made it your own...just saying.

That's not what I did.

I respect their work, and I'm the one who photoshopped that stuff.

You respect whose work? I don't get that feeling, but I guess I've just got the photographer in mind who probably does make try to make a living off of photography and things like the background included here. You're right, it's not really a big deal that the original photographer is credited or at the very least name the person who's likeness you've included in this. Could have at least used IMDB (google it, lol) to figure out the name of the actor you've included.

In my opinion, I feel it would flow better if the text conformed with the effect used on the background a bit. The way the background has that convex feeling (pardon my lack of proper terminology) and pops out at you while the text goes against that, just doesn't do it for me (well, I think it's more just the background and it feeling like you're looking through a telescope).

You know I've bought this photography right?

And thanks for feedback anyways ;)

By the way be aware than 97% (ok maybe less but lets say in photoshopping) of stuff you'll find on internet is respect-less toward people who participated to it (idk if I said it right but.. you see what I mean right :D)

It's great, but DayZ and "What's his story?" ect need color changing, because I had a hard time making out "DayZ" at first.

Yeah it's pretty dark, I like when text's this way.

I'll make a second version for you, with read-able text!

I believe the actor is Guy Pearce, an Aussie actor. Side note, if anyone hasn't seen The Road, I urge you to, it's a great movie.

Yeah, agreed, that movie is insane. A lil' slow, a lil' sad, but insane!
