Alternative to 5 sec logoff delay

Dev Team,

The 5 sec delay is not long enough. I've read and understand why it cant be longer but i think i have a simple fix.

Is it possible to have the player pass out, like during massive blood-loss, prior to exiting the server? Basically your player falls over passed out when you try to disconnect; when your player gets back up he leaves the server. Is this plausible?
