Standalone Patience

I know everyone is excited about the standalone, he'll yes so am I! But instead of making up videos and here say and far from the truth or a huge moan because it did not release at Christmas put your ideas into the pool to help shape what's to come.

Really it's a good thing that its not coming out right now. I was a games/platform tester for Microsoft Xbox live and let me tell you trying to get a game out the door too early is not a good thing(damn written reports!). Some never made it on the shelf or 3 days from release when people from the US could not connect to play with people in Europe. Nightmare!

Right now you have a mod with a ton of maps that is being constantly developed by the community with some great private hives to play on. This is a lot of gaming for your $ right there out now. Then when the standalone does arrive on steam, I think people who are into days are going to get the feeling of I know where I am but damn all this new stuff is cool.

I think this is worth the extra 4 to 6 months. That extra development time is worth it's weight in gold!
