Problem with BattlEye

Howdy fellas, I've recently started playing Day Z (about 2 weeks ago), and it has worked perfectly fine......until now. As of today, whenever I join a server I get kicked out within 30 seconds and a message pops up saying "You were kicked off the game (BattlEye: Failed to update)"

Now I've googled and searched a few pages of this forum and tried some of the basic stuff. So first I tried right clicking on it in steam and trying to redownload BattlEye, but it says failed due to missing executable. I verified the integrity of the game through steam (it finds one file that failed to validate and says it will reaquire it, but it still doesnt work). And I've deleted the Arma2exe. file and then verified the integrity of the game to get it to redownload the exe. file and it still doesnt work.

All of these problems are strictly for Arma 2 only. Arma 2 OA works just fine and lets me reinstall the BattlEye.

So I humbly ask if any of yall have had this problem or know a way of fixing it. I would greatly appreciate it, its really frustrating that it worked just fine the last time I played it and now for some reason it wont work.

Try downloading Battleye Client from their website.

number one dayz is arma, number 2 99% chance you bought it through steam. 3 you need to open steam and run each game atleast once or from time to time to insure you get a constant update from battle eye. holaur

got it fixed with the battleye direct download. thanks for the help guys!

I keep downloading and getting told the dll is a Trojan :D
