Game stuck in waiting to create player!

I have been playing DayZ for a while now, and I have come across this one particular server, GamingAustralia|#2|Wasteland|Chernarus|Open to be exact, and it seems as if everyone in Australia is playing on it. When I join this server, that's when there is a spot free, which is very rarely, It loads everything fine until it gets to, waiting to create player or something like that and it stays like that forever. I have never had any trouble before with joining a server and my computer is more then capable of running DayZ. It may have something to do with I may need to download a map or something because the name of the server (viewing this in DayZ commander) is not fully highlighted which normally indicates your missing something. I have checked to make sure I have the latest version of DayZ and everything required to play and it is all up to date. My friends seem to have no problems joining the server and they live in the same area then me.
