Kicked from every server.

Recommended Posts

*Which version of the game did you purchase? STEAM or RETAIL or MIXED: STEAM

*Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?: No, I am not.

*Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: DayZ Commander (Run as Administrator)

*What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible:

I downloaded ARMA2:OA and regular ARMA2 this morning, and starting to try it out. Every time I launch OA, it says this. The same thing happens when I try to join a server through DayZCommander. It reaches the eighth tick of the ten boxes on screen, and then an error pops up saying

Addon 'CA_CommunityConfigurationProject_E' requires addon 'CASigns_E'

Not only do I have no idea what that means, but I can't find any help related to this problem- it's as if I'm the only one. (Does this even matter? Does it do anything in game??)

If I click 'OK' to get past it, it gets into the game normally, followed by a 'Kicked' message, which then brings me back to here.

If I try to join a server (this is with ANY server, I have tried a variety of them) it says something along the lines of this (mine now says 1.188, as somehow it updated). I have tried reinstalling BattlEye manually at C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\Expansion\BattlEye using the BattlEye website (client version v1.62, as it says on the website) but I still get the same message, followed by this message. I get this for every server, and have managed to get into DayZ ONCE, when I managed to join the game before it could kick me for whatever reason.

*Your PC specs: Processor: AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.8GHz

Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance (1866MHz)

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB

*Your Operating System: Windows 7 Professional

Try restarting your computer.

If that doesn't work, launch Steam and right click Arma 2 and/or Arma 2 OA and hit > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

For BattlEye right click Arma 2 OA and hit Reinstall BattlEye Anti-Cheat. After this it might require another restart.

Note: Before you install/play DayZ, you need to run Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA then close them, I heard.

Sorry if all these don't work, I'm just telling you what I would do in your situation. It's likely to fix the problem.

Very helpful, thanks.

I've restarted my PC (completely, unplugged and all) and am validating OA now at 45% through.

I've already reinstalled BattlEye, but another time can't hurt. I've also ran both games on steam, alone. (I noticed that I had bought ARMA2:CO, but it doesn't actually show up in the library- the games show separately. Not sure if that's just me)

I'll report back soon.

This should fix it verifying game cache make sure to do it for both arma 2 and OA once each has been verified. Launch them individually through steam and shut them down will fix the rest of the files. After that your clear to launch through commander and it should be fixed.

I love you both, from the bottom of my heart.

I restarted my PC, verified both games' game cache, restarted each with Steam, then followed through with DayZ Commander. BOTH errors are fixed, and I just had a lovely experience with my first zombie.

Thank you very much.

Tavianna is a custom map and shouldn't be needed for all servers. I've seen this community project error before and it sounds like an addon problem.

Oh, error fixed. Hur.
