Graphical Error

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was playing this game, took a break and got this message showing the directory to the OA file and then said: "No entry (directory path) ArmA2OA.cfg.3D_Performance" when I launched it again. The graphics of the game downgraded too. I don't know what this means but I am assuming 3D_Performance means worse graphics. Thanks in advance!

maybe the graphics did indeed get down graded becauyse there is an editable config file entry where u can set the "quality" of 3d rendering

but obviously, if lower gfx, ull have more fps

in any decent arma 2 optimization guide, ull always see a "reduce 3d_performance" line

think of this as if someone optimized the game in ur stead and be happy

that wouldnt affect ur abibilty to join servers

maybe u were just joiining private hives with whitelist, or just a map that u havent downloaded yet

dayzcommander.com is ur friend

go to (most likely drive C) C/users/[name of user]/documents/arma 2 or arma 2 oa (this is all i remember right now, so it may be a bit different)

there u will find config files for arma 2 and arma 2 oa, right click, open with notepad, u can edit these files. just make sure u actually edit what U KNOW u can edit

google that

all optimization is to be done manually by urself. dont download any programs that "will optimize it for you"
