Doing some basic Google searches lead to some information scriptkiddies have been using. Based on their description, Battleye 1.86 added a new process that detects if the main Battleye thread is running. If this process is ever interrupted, paused, etc... then Battleye will immediately disconnect with Game Hack #3. This apparently has been causing some conflicts with other software as well, and I've had to restart every 15-30 minutes due to it.scared to use fraps now D:anyone tried it lately?I've tried it both with and without FRAPS, I've had the issue either way. Grey508 17 Posted January 17, 2013 I experienced this today while playing on my Insurgency server. I started streaming to Twitch via Xsplit last week and logged about a dozen hours of test gameplay with no issues. Then today, I was kicked for "Hack #3" about 10-15 minutes into our session. I then stopped Xsplit completely and went on to enjoy several hours of uninterrupted gaming. No issue with Fraps.Regarding Xsplit, I was capturing the game, not screen region, so perhaps that has something to do with it. I'll be testing again using screen region later. Strange...So it's probably just a matter of BE needing to add Xsplit to its list of approved hooks. I think the game capture option is a relatively new (?) Xsplit feature so no surprise, I guess. I logged back on fine and played for a good hour. Allie (DayZ) 97 Posted January 17, 2013 When connecting to a server do you get the messages of battleye that you are a verified client?Maybe you can try updating the battleye dll's manually, go to battleye webpage and get the latest dll's, replace the ones in the arma directory and try again.My idea is that battleye is not updated. thebluefish92 0 Posted January 17, 2013 Well just to sorta update things on my end, I may have been a different issue than others here. I ended up having to do a full reformat due to strange behavior coming from Windows. Re-installed Arma2, OA, and DayZ, and haven't had a kick since using the same software as before. LloydT 9 Posted January 17, 2013 Happened to me yesterday on my server as well, I was exiting a chopper on the ground and kicked for BattlEye Hack #3. I will PM you everything I have running. (I did notice a lag spike right before the kick, related or not, unsure) was more embarrassing than anything considering the other players on the servers I run now may think I am a cheater :( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
skepy@live.co.uk 9 Posted January 17, 2013 ok guys, here what I did on my end.Yesterday after creating this thread, I was advised to do a full computer scan with my Anti Virus. Looks like this worked as I streamed for a good 4 hours and wasn't kicked once, I was playing the same servers I always do too.For anyone experiencing this problem, my guess is that somewhere down the line of the last 24 you downloaded something that had some Malware inside and BE is finding it and kicking you.We should keep this thread open incase its caused by other things too.SIDE NOTE: Anyone using Xsplit to stream, update manually from their website to 1.2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
LloydT 9 Posted January 17, 2013 Not in my case, it happened once and not again. I got kicked for it, and nothing else happened. I run full scans 3am every night with security essentials as well as real time protection. I am not worried that it is something I downloaded, it occurred right after a BattlEye update I assume it is catching something it shouldn't or in my case the lag caused BE to not be able to scan and it rightly kicked me. If that was the case, I hope they change the wording rather than make it look like a cheater kick. It has had no problems today, and like I said only one kick yesterday for it. Huge lag spike so I had to log back to the lobby. The game crashed trying to restart and when I get back in I get pulled into a TS channel by one of the server admins.
