Arma 2 OA Will Not Fullscreen and Glitches Out

Whenever I boot up arma 2 OA, even though I've checked the resolutions in my settings at least 9 times and in the CMG or whatever they're called files the resolution is the same, it won't go fullscreen. the borders of a window are visible and the top of the window along with my desktop toolbar overlap the game, making it a lot harder to do simple things in DayZ. I have reinstalled every Arma 2 related file twice and it is still NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. Can anyone provide me with a way to fix this and get my game back into actual fullscreen?

I just got the same problem have you found out how to fix it by a chance!

Sounds like a registry/.cfg setting. Perhaps checking your Arma 2 folder in my documents. Right click<edit various .cfg files. Perhaps ctrl+f<fullscreen to speed the process up.

Been having similar issues but after clicking on app from taskbar, I'd alt+tab and cycle to Arma 2. That would get me back into fullscreen.
