darkhorse2728 0 Posted January 15, 2013 G'Day Crew,Probably not a very polite question as such, sorry.I am looking for a host/server provider with managed server(s), but has easy to use admin interface. The interface that DayZ.st has is awesome, but had a lot of lag issues etc.Another provider has a great connection (HFB) but I am REALLY struggling with changing server settings. It is a whole new language to me and frankly I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. I am trying to read as much as possible, forums, FAQS, Google etc, but it is if I am trying to read the language of a different planet. I dont know how you do it.I want to be able to place and spawn vehicles via a map. (dayZ.st)I want to be able to modify player loadout. (dayZ.st)I want to be able to whitelist easily (HFB)I want to be able to clear tents and vehicles easily (HFB)I want to be able to modify the server time, such as ALL day and restart times, every 4 hours (dayZ.st)I have DayZ package plus, but I dont want to keep annoying HFB support everytime I want to change something.I was looking at using DayZ Server Control, but it just does not work for me and my provider HFB????A lot of "I"' s I know, sorry.I hate giving up, but am close to giving this hosting admin idea away.Cheers. Floff4rn 19 Posted January 15, 2013 Dart is easy to use.Not much you can do with it, but it's a nice start.
darkhorse2728 0 Posted January 16, 2013 Thanks but not really what I need. Steep learning curve, getting a few things done (I think), but have submitted a ticket with HFB, which so far has gone unsupported now for 18 hours.............Starting to get pissed with it all.Either poor servers, support or Tools are not very intuitive (same as their FAQ's)................. I might be wrong, though. I hope I can help you out to all that you need. I just replied to your newer ticket that you linked me in our thread. We're bringing on some more people and training them to reduce response times, as we are aware that this is one of the biggest complaints so far.Either poor servers, support or Tools are not very intuitive (same as their FAQ's).................As for the FAQs, those are relatively new. If you give me some feedback on why exactly it isn't helpful, I will personally see to it that it gets updated.Thank you Edited January 16, 2013 by Kiotie
darkhorse2728 0 Posted January 17, 2013 (edited) Kiotie,It would appear that the Original ticket disappeared, I have an email for it, but not in the system?Thank you as always for your help. I appreciate that you guys are busy, new gear hopefully for standalone etc.You have been very helpful. I appreciate that most of my "issues" are a lack of knowledge on my part, very steep learning curve for me.That last quote is directed at various providers, not HFB, although the FAQ's could be a bit more detailed. Although I would prefer a quicker response time for real issues than having someone using valuable time writing up the FAQ's.I also appreciate that as a business you have to balance staff numbers against clients.I have no doubt that if HFB offered some of these tools, you would the provider of choice!Cheers Edited January 17, 2013 by DarkHorse

Having a map tool is definitely something we've been looking in to, but we just don't have anyone at this time with the skills/knowledge of doing so. We hope to get something cool out sometime soon if we can find someone capable (JavaScript and PHP, I suppose?).
