Play with six is having so many problems. And DayZ commander wont work..

Okay, So after this update play with six has been having so many problems, first of all, I can't find any of the servers ive been playing on, whenever I download TAVIANA it has a bunch of errors of missing files and I can't join the servers and I've just about had it with SIX. I've tried using DayZ commander and it never detects arma 2. It says not found on the install/update section. whenever i try to download arma 2 on dayz commander it says invalid download and i cant download. same with dayz if i try to download on dayz commander. i baught arma 2 and OA on steam and ive tried reinstalling twice. idk what to do.

Sounds like DZC and Pw/6 are fighting it out in your systems registry on who is DayZ's best-friend. ;)

Perhaps do an uninstall, one more time. Find a registry cleanertype of program. Search, via regedit.exe (as admin), looking for Arma II, OA, CO, DayZ Commander Play withSix, Bohemia, BattlEye and any other company name you may think of that'd be related.

After that is done..just for kicks, restart your PC. Install Arma II. Play. Install OA. Play. and DLC's? BE install.

Your Server Browser of choice. (I'd recommend Play withSix..cause it's supported)

Take the time to install it proper, point your DayZ Browser to all the right-paths (where Arma II is, your mods, etc.)

What type of ISP you using. Like basic-dsl or ultra-supra highspeed?

Thanks for the help, but i just decided to use play with six, and delete dayz commander, but its still having problems. Not only cant i download taviana, but now it has missing files for panthera, and when i try to install it does the same thing, even though just last night i was playing panthera. and i can never find servers on play with six...

I have all my mods in the Arma II directory (all the folders have a @modname). idk 100% but doesnt DZC&Pw/6 use the documents folder for mods? I actually had to set which folder the programs looks at (as I had Steam/Arma II in a non-standard folder)

Does Taviana (or and other mod...like Lingor, Namalsk, etc..)show up in the mod list? If so and you click Install, does it not show files being downloading? ("status bar" of the install/update button) and when it finishes ? The mod disappears from the mod-list or becomes corrupt/unplayable?

I play many maps where something is missing but I just click ok and carry-on. Similar or like a fatal-exception popping up? (like its Play withSix, the program that messed and not Arma II, nor the mod)

btw, I was/am/still will recommend Play withSix :beans:

Oddly enough, Play withSix demanded a update that borked itself. Only DayZ shows, though right mods folder is set. Trying to update states that Six Tools is fugged and needs to be redownloaded...never updates.

Heading over to change-log page and wut-naught, try to get us an answer. :|

Did a search for mods I know I have installed from witthin Play withSix, it showed up but all I could do was click a link...Took me a day to finally see the "add" button which opened the DayZ from mod list (drop down menu) with all the mods there! IDK if it was me searching for a mod and adding that triggered or I never noticed the drop-down from the mod list in Play withSix.
