I need alot of help with DayZ

Hello,

I installed arma 2: combined operations yesterday and installed dayz with dayzcommander. But all went wrong when it said Battleye failed to update. I have fixed this problem but now more problems have occurred when i launch to try and play a Dayz server it comes up battleye client client required 1.185. up to date then it says battleye has computed gui: random letters. PLLEEEAAASSEEE HEEELPPP i've bought this and really want to play dayz.

EDIT: When i join most servers it comes up bad server.

What u read is ok whit 1.85 up to date and guid number.

Bad servers , I think you have not the beta patch.

EDIT: I have just run the exe in the zip folder and still am getting the bad server errors

Did you run Arma II and Arma II AO each at least once before you tried to run DayZ? If not try that then try Dayz again.

If you start the game and you are in the main menu, you see richt under a number it start whit 1.62.xxxxxx thats the version number what u run.

And i think u run not betapatch.

At your main arma 2 folder (program files) u will see shortcurts from the arma`s what u have and olso off the betapatch, make one to your desktop and start the game on there.

i think u can manually update battleye files

if ure playing of steam, launch arma 2 oa, and itll ask u play the game/update battleye/and some other 3rd option

obviously u choose update battleye

You can manual update your battleye on here http://www.battleye.com/index.html under download you find the BE file.
