question about the cz550's scope

Recommended Posts

so the cz's scope does not have vertical mildots, but it is still the most common scoped weapon in the game. Are the horizontal marks on the scope each one mildot? what is the zoom on the rifle? is the distance between the tip of the chevron and the bottom a certain number of mils?

I really just want a way of estimating ranges with this gun.

I use those horizontal marks as a "rangefinder".

200-210 meters

Approximately 400 meters.

If the target takes three horizontal marks, then he is 500-550 meters away.

thanks, thats a good method

based on that information, combined with what I think the dimensions for people are in arma 2 (1.8 meters tall, .5 meters wide) then each line is 1/4 mil right?

the reason I am wondering is because if someone is prone, you can use the standard (1.8*1000)/number of mil calculation to get the distance if you know the scale

ok, I could not find much info on the cz in particular on any of the arma sites, also I didn't realize it was a similar scope to the pso-1, good to know, thanks!
