Low/varied fps on dayz vs regular arma2 fix?

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if it's just lag or my system but I get a really poor frame rate on dayz sometimes server dependant, but arma2 plays fine on my system is there some kind of fix for this, or does it depend in server selection? I guess I'm basically asking what the variables are that effect the frame rate on dayz from day to day? I'd appreciate any help on this, thanks.

Bob

The majority of the private servers are hosted directly from the computer of the admin so it can get really laggy when you join into. I recommend playing in public servers (mostly they have 20-30 people inside) but the biggest problem it's hacking. You could search on Google or even here for a good community that have both good and legit players/good server hosting so you can enjoy the game at the same time you don't get killed by a running bunny.

Here in Argentina you can find a lot of private servers hosted directly from the admin's PC, so they're pretty laggy and drop your FPS because of the low rate of data transfer.
