Yes our server. the server of guildofmuteassassins get hacked daily by at least 6 or 7 guys. though we have very active admins so they get banned right away, but it does put a hamper on everything since you have to do a roll back.

I love the idea of a persistant survival experience, and agree that the current amount of meat you get from finding/killing one animal is too high for you to worry about food after that, i think from a game play perspective it would be a lot more satisfying if you had to hunt rabbits and (rare) boars because hunting a rabbit is actually a lot like actually HUNTING because they can often be hard to hit, plus after eating one you will only put off starvation for an hour or so instead of indefinitely.

also just a note, 2.0 is alot harder/cooler than the last version anyone has mentioned so if you havent you should very much check out the 2.0 update for 2017

P.S. keep bandages scarce but maybe consider seeing if you could add a new feature allowing players to use a hunting knife to cut out a bandage off a player/zed corpse with the same rate of infection as eating player/zed meat.

Version 1.1 is now released and being rolled out on different servers as I type. It is currently active on playwithsix and will imminently be available DayZ Commander.

A little bit about the mod. Its set 5 years into the future and everything is more rare and the gameplay is more based on survivalism due to the low amount of high powered weapons. Players are known to trade often in 2017 and tend to work together more due to the harsh nature of the mod. That is not to say banditry does not exist, no, people can get quite ruthless, but they are likely to kill you for food then anything else (and that might be the food you carry, or you yourself as the food).

We are also a community based mod, so we welcome people getting involved. A lot of the new features we have planned for the next release are mostly from the players.

Note: Its not for everyone, and we don't want it to be. If you like getting 'geared up' quickly then this won't be for you. Its a challenge and we intend to keep taking it more in that direction. At the same time its an ongoing effort and will always need refinement and careful attention to keep balance right.

* Dead Players / Zeds can be gutted and cooked with detrimental effect on humanity and high chance of infection

* Zombies Hordes Spawn in Forests (and are attracted to camp fires)

All of this is irrelevant to the latest and FAR better version, which is nearly impossible to compare to 1.1
