sekh765 0 Posted January 12, 2013 So I am getting a Micro-stutter effect about every step. I would say every 2 seconds my game pauses for .5 seconds, and repeats this forever. I do not get this effect in single player. It makes ARMA virtually unplayable in any multiplayer setting. I have a very good computer and in game video settings have no effect on this problem.Has anyone else encountered this issue? I have done all the basic stuff such as upgrade my drivers, checking the files, etc.

freaky88 13 Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) A ram-disk and putting dayz and the maps on it is a 100% fix, the only downside is the ram-disk gets deleted after comp restart and you have to manually re add dayz and the maps (if you do do this, make sure to change the dayz game path in dayz commander etc) Edited January 14, 2013 by freaky78
terminal_boy 860 Posted January 14, 2013 If you use RAMDisk, you'd be very unlucky to lose all data if you have the autosave enabled.I don’t want to lose my data on the RAMDisk, so what must I do?In the ‘Load and Save’ tab, check the box entitled ‘Save Disk Image on Shutdown’. Also check the ‘AutoSave’ box, selecting the backup interval that meets your needs. Your data will be written to the hard drive for safe keeping. Remember, when power is removed from RAM memory, the data is lost.
