Do I need to 1.7 or can I jump to 1.7.1?

First question is:

In terms of running version 1.7.1, do I need any of the old files from 1.7.0 here? http://184.95.47.165/old/'>http://184.95.47.165/old/

Or can I just jump right to 1.7.1 files here http://184.95.47.165/ and run DayZ with them alone?

Second question is:

If I have 1.7.1 installed, and I dont need the 1.7.0 files, can I run my mod version on a 1.7.0 server? If the answer is 'no', then Im assuming that if I have the 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 files from the download pages above, I can play on both types of servers.

You don't need any old files, just get all files from http://cdn.armafiles.info/

If you are familiar with torrents, I can recommend the 1.7.1.1 torrent file from the download mirror - the .rar file is already formatted so you can just drop the extracted folder into your arrowhead folder.
