Can anyone point me to a link, or give me a primer on setting up a custom, non official server?

I have played on a few with custom buildings, camps, vehicles etc, and am interested on possibly setting up one of my own.

I have no experience running DayZ or Arma on the server side, but have plenty of computer power to run it smoothly.

If you want people to connect, the best idea is to pay for it to be hosted by a server service. I'm not sure if you can even run a server on your home PC. Anyway, here's a link to what seems to be a fairly commonly used server hosting service for DayZ. http://www.hfbservers.com/
