Server Connection Issues - HFB New Server

G'Day Crew,

Having some issues with my new HFB server.

Initial communication excellent :) Payment and server setup very quick.

Was able to install Chernarus and connect - Night time :(

Changed config file for server name and MOTD.

Now cannot connect to server. Opened a support ticket, but no reply as yet.

Connect to server via DayZ Commander.

Launches into game. Multi-player setup screen

BEC updates to 1.185 with MOTD messages

Click on OK.

Get message "wait for host"

NO mission file loaded.

Next screen shows connect. Click on connect, get YELLOW chain then RED chain with message : No message received for xxx seconds............

Not sure what is going on.

I have BEC installed, does not make any difference if installed or un-installed.

I have whitelisting enabled, same as above (I have added my guid to the whitelist .txt file)

Have reset and or stopped/restarted the server numerous times, no luck.

Server IP is: 192.154.107.50

Port: 2342

Any thoughts or idea's?

Quick reply to ticket today :)

It would seem the server was crashing trying to install the mission file. Server was reset.

Is now working with password in place initially.

Very happy with HFB support :)

Thanks Cyber9612 for the offer. It will have to wait until I get back from a 4 day business trip if that is ok, I appreciate it. First time admin/having own server, so a LOT to learn.

The server issue was probably something that I did :(

Sigh.

No loot spawning or vehicles only zombies. Havent go time for this. :(

Please use support tickets, a public forum is not the place for this type of support. Its very rare to see loot not spawn on a unmodified mission file.

Done and done! Tickets created and responded to very quickly and sorted :)

More for the fact that I had probably done something wrong and didn't want to waste tech supports time.

I had to go away on business, hence my reference to not having time.
