turtles9989 5 Posted January 11, 2013 Hi! This story is based on my actual player in game currently. I'll update it as I go along. But without further a due, Lets go!DayZ.Date;10/01/2013 – 21:42 PM.Location;Chernarus.Subject; PFC J. 'Turtles' Anderson.Gender;MaleStatus;ALIVEPriority; Medium.ROE; Capture on Sight.Armed;Yes.Infected;Yes.Contained;No. The computer shuts off.Prologue.DayZ. – Rude Awakenings.“As if today couldn't get any more boring...” I said to myself. Alone in the barracks. It had been 3 days since my last deployment. In between those times i've been sent in and out of the medical tents for injections. Examinations and all kinds of weird shit. The rest of my team has been sent out over and over again. On some 'Secret missions' and guard duty over something. They didint tell me much about my teams orders. Neither did they when I asked. It was like they were gearing up to throw me away. Like a starved dog. And the owners are going to leave it in a house filled with gasoline tanks. Ready to cause a stir and end the dogs miserable life...Today had been quiet. I havent heard from Dennis. Miley or Tom for a few hours...Dennis was the Doctor who would keep giving me shots and blood transfusions. It's not like it hurt. It just happened so often I got sick of it.Miley was my Commanding officer. He normally stays in the radio tower. Overlooking the runway of the dull and rusted Airbase. Everything was falling apart. Hangers, Barracks, even the planes are rusted and ready to blow up upon take off.Tom was a janitor. 'Nuff said. We talk a lot.It was 12;47. Rather mild in the secluded island near Russia... No idea why we're here... just are.I feel as though i'm some sort of rat in a badly made cage. The runway inly spanded 500m. We had blurred out heliports that you couldn't make out from the watch tower. Let alone 200 feet in the air.I heard the door open. I just assumed it was someone passing through so I stayed in my bunk.“Come on now, Jayson. Get out of bed.” It was dennis. He was wearing his labcoat. But had a Jacket a well.I crawled out of my bed. Nearly banging my head off the roof of the Barracks. That's how small it was...I stood and waited.“Well?” He asked.“Well what?” I replied.“Are you ready?”“For?” He remained quiet. “Did no-one tell you?”“No?”I was confused as hell. He's talking like I could read his mind...“Oh. Well...” he pauses. “You're being re-deployed. You need to get going. Now.”Whats this? I'm being re-deployed? Suprising...I began to grab my gear, when he stopped me.“Er.. No. You wont need that.” He said.“You said I'm being re-deployed?” I asked.“Sort of. Come with me.” He started to walk off.I followed. He head me down to the peir. We passed the damaged hangers and through a small treeline. Going past the rotton pieces of food and crisp packets. And beer bottles where soldiers would sneak out and have a night out by stealing some supplies from the food barracks. On the pier was a PT Boat. Armed with .45 machine-guns on either side of the deck area. With a little cabin in the middle where you drive the boat. We climbed aboard and started it up. The doctor was taking me out into Deployment?“Den? I don't get it. I'm being re-deployed with no gear. And you're taking me out yourself? Whats going on? Are we being attacked? IS there some sort of em-” “Stop asking questions. I'll explain soon.” He cut in. And started the PT boat up. And we began to drive off...Half an hour later we stopped. I had been standing holding onto the .45. Watching the water drift by. I hadn't noticed my face was soaking from the kick of water. Den came out. And sighed.“Jay. I'm sorry.” he said with a silent tone.“What?” I replied. Confused. Before I could even think. He lunged forward. Stabbing something into my arm. A needle. The fluids pushing into my veins. I kicked back and began to feel sick. I eventually threw up. And fell down. Falling into a deep sleep... My dream was weird... I felt I had just jumped into a pool. And I was simply floating on top. Everything looked familiar.. Around me I could just see sunbeds and some sort of hotel. I couldnt turn my head at all...What seemed like an eternity. I suddenly hit something soft... I looked to my right. Being able to move my head again... I was on a beach... I was still dizzy from whatever Den had injected me with... I could see a blurry green sign... but wasnt able to make it out...I blacked out.Day 1 – So many questions. So little time.(COMING SOON! If you guys liked this.)Note; I'm not the best writer. But I want to get better. And practise makes perfect. Right? Leave some suggestions or tips for me if you like. And i'll add to Jay's story. :P
