...is, as most of you already know, coming in the next patch.

I just checked the dayz wiki weapons list to confirm something when I read that it's going to do 8000 blood damage.

Is that a typo of some kind or is this information true?

Probably a typo, it shouldn't do more damage than the old AWS. The only difference is the scope and that this one got a RIS Grip.
