Alarm Clocks and timers

As you all know, your average zombie isn't very bright, they're only smart enough to be able to run, eat and be able to associate movement, sound and light with food.

What I have in mind is that we should be able to find and make use of alarm clocks and timers in order to manipulate the zeds. For example I set the alarm clock I just found in a bedroom to ring 10 minutes into the future. I place it where a lot of zeds can hear it and then I sneak off. 10 minutes later the alarm goes off and all zeds run out of their hiding spots and run towards the clock, which let me loot the houses they left, thus conserving ammo (if I have a gun ofc). Timers can be used in similar way but to a greater effect when combined with a cd-plyer and speakers.

If you have any other idea on how you could use various day-to-day tools in the zombie apocalypse I'm all ears.

Interesting idea. Would need to bring batteries into the game though, which they may or may not already be doing not too sure.

Cd players may be a bit much to run off batteries, but alarm clock would be good.

I just saw the alarm clock idea in the game 'State of Decay', it would be great to have this in the SA, Every house has at least one alarm clock and the wind up ones wouldn't require batteries.

I thought you meant those wind-up egg-timers but I like the idea anyway. It makes for some nice tactical distraction and I can already see people setting the timer and dropping them in someone's backpack :P
