I recently transferred my copy of operation arrowhead to a friends computer so I could play dayz at his house. However now when we try to play together I have no problems on my computer but he's being kicked straight away on his. Is it possible for him to play dayz without buyin oa despite having it installed on his pc? or is it linked to steam accounts?

You can only be online with one key at a time. You can both play DayZ together just not legally. Either buy a new key or use your head and find another way around it :)
