Vent? How do all the people communicate

So I've been watching multiple videos on this game and have noticed people talking to eachother with mics. Do most people use a client like Ventrilio or what? Isn't it, if you talk in the game, everyone on the server hears?

Nevermind. Just noticed another topic similar. /closed

I use vent with group and most people don't have any issues with it. I have played with people who just use the in game voice chat. But overall if you want to keep a soild group ventrillo,TS3, and mumble are almost required. SYkpe works too but in my experiance its not good for groups larger than 5.
