trying to start playing but i get to the loading screen then the game crashes and a warning pops up

Warning:preNLOD format in objectca\wheeled_e\volha.p3d

please help

try deleting the dayz files from @dayz folder in ur arma 2 oa directory

and redownloading the dayz mod files again

nope same error tryed it a couple times and tryed different servers

Well it seems one of the default files of Arma is corrupt or whatever.

This is weird if you are not a editor/scripter

Best to do is completely remove and reinstall arma2 and arma OA

^ waste of time to do that if you bought it off steam, go to steam, right click arma 2 oa and arma 2, then click properties and then click "verify integrity of game cache"
