New OA beta unplayable...

No I am not whining here about the 1.7.1 patch being too 'hard' or anything. So please do not pounce on me. :P

Actually I don't even know how hard it is because since 1.7.1 came out, essentially forcing me to install the beta for Arrowhead just to be able to play, the whole game is unplayable. It takes 10 mins to load the game, and for a long time of trying after (like 1 hour at least) I finally got past the menus which freeze repeatedly every 15-20 seconds for like 5 seconds at a time and actually loaded into a server. It took 10 mins to actually connect to a good ping (was 27 when I clicked 'join') and when it did the game was freezing repeatedly too like the menu screens.

So.. anyone else having this issue? Any ideas? My system is up to scratch to play the game, no problem. 3ghz Core 2 Duo Intel 8400, Nvidia 285 GTX 1GB card with latest drivers, latest DX 9 installed all windows updates for Win 7 64 bit Home. 8GB DDR 2 RAM.
