Clean up some unrealistic areas..

Have found some areas of the game that really need to be cleaned up as they make things totally unreal and in many cases suck the life out of wanting to play.

Here are some ideas to make people play much much more carefully and up the paranoia level.. make the game more realistic.. In its current form it is lacking in many areas and appealing to alpha gets tiresome fast..

-Remove any announcement that a player has died.. (totally unrealistic and if the person managed to crawl out of site and died the killer should be left wandering if they are dead not. Getting some world announcement saying sure it is safe to go in they are dead is totally unreal and removes a possible edge if the person managed to get out of los and bandage)

-Add a play dead key.. (with above try fool them into come out of hiding so you can try pull a fast one.. or use up lots more ammo making darn sure you are dead..)

-Add a booby trap yourself.. (if you have a grenade and are fast enough you can pull the pin and lay on it when getting shot.. if player then blindly searches you it goes off.. if they do they have a chance to disarm and if it fails they hear a loud clink as the timer starts.. they can try leg..)

-log out points.. can only log out at safe spots (like tent or secure house/room)

-1 min timer for log-out if not at safe spot and 8 hour lockout if you use it..

(It you do get pinned down you cant just dc or if you do that's it for the night, 8hrs in the penalty box. A heavy price making yourself secure were you are if you wanna try for it..) (should go some way to fix forced dc)

-When you are dead you are dead.. (game claims dead, yea right)

-You can only play on one server at a time (your life is in this dimension.. you can't willy nilly jump to different dimensions (server), when you start a life it cant be played on any other server)

-If you die on a server you cant create another character on that server for 30 days (none of this looting your own body, how unrealistic is that.. also takes the need to say alive to a whole new level since yes if your buddy gets shot he is not going to magically come running back in a nice new shiny body!! When you budy gets shot he is DEAD!!)

-Reduce the amount of lootin some places.. (sorry but after a building has been looted 100 times, everything usable should be gone.. not come back 5 min later and there is a new set of guns, bits and bobs..)

-Change loot re-spawn!! in some places the current rate and amount is way overboard.

a) Finite gear, remove loot re-spown.. (realistically when a new server starts it should have a set amount of loot and once it is used it is gone! Unlikely the game engine can support crafting but after awile you should have to start making the things you need to survive.)

b) reduce loot re spawn.. (either amount or frequency or both.. some places get way way to much loot, and realistically how may guns would be laying around.. )

-more interaction with environment.. (from crawling out windows to escape buildings if pinned in, fortify buildings to create safe points for logouts/loot storage etc, various crafting..)

You can't be serious man. What about people that have camps in the woods that want to log out? Are they 100% screwed? What if you're in the middle of nowhere with nothing around ( It does happen) and they have to go but can't find a " Safe point " which seems unrealistic as hell to me. The whole safe spot thing just doesn't makes any sense.

The when you die YOU'RE DEAD. That's just dumb..Nobody would play , Say you're a bad player and you're just starting and you've been killed on a LOT of servers say like 50+ servers and you'd have to start joining all of these servers with 200-300 ping, That's not going to help ANYBODY. In 1 month you could be DEAD on all servers, they way the game is now is fine.

There are other ways to keep people from getting their things back. But I do like this one a LOT:

I'd like to see most of the hud go away completely (yes, chatlog and ammo count included), but people will never go for that.
