Like for their big summer sale thing? I recently installed Windows 7 on my iMac, so I'm eagerly wanting to play this game, but don't wanna buy it just yet, just incase of a sale.

I would wait for the summer sale. Chances are it will be because of the big increase in popularity. Even if it doesn't go on sale it's only like a week wait.

ideally the proper thing to do would be to not lower the price just because there is a large interest in it, i would of liked to pick it up a bit cheaper but ill get the dlc on sale instead.

i paid the current £24 on steam and i think a game that has had 3 years or so of patches is worth that.

but from a business sense, lowering the price is a stupid move.

If it DOES go on sale, then I image more people would buy it than if the price remained the same.

It will go on sale soon I would bet.... it spiked in sales so they are going to keep it priced until sales drop again.. soon as it starts to slip down for a week they will try and entice those who were on the fence while the hype is still there.

IIRC Arma II and OA were on sale a little over a year ago.

Not sure if that information is relevant to thread though :p
