Recommended Posts

i presum u understand that the edited files also needs to be at the client connecting to your server ?

It says it can not find the files so what have you changed ?

Were you just extending the list of spawnpoints for use on a different "map", or are you actually changing Dayz logic ?

Tell us some more of what you are trying to do .

I was modifying the loot chances, adjusting the minimum zombie count at spawns, and that's about it. Those are all server side changes so I don't see why the client side user would be effected. And like I said some of those files listed weren't even edited

The server monitor one was edited to provide better initial vehicle cleanup after BEC restarts

It should be noted these errors are in the server log not my client log

I mean am I missing a step? I unpacked the pbo, unwrapped the bin, edited, repacked the bin/pbo and re uploaded...

Is their something else I'm supposed to do?

hi mate, i have tryed to extract the dayz_server.pbo, i used the tool called "ExtractPbo1.76" together with the "DePbo3.24" dll.

I always used these tools to extract pbo's for arma, it always worked perfect. U talk about a bin file to extract, but i did not have to do that for this file "dayz_server.pbo".

Well to continue, i extracted the pbo and then just repacked it again with "CPBO", set up a server and tryed to connect............ I have the same problem as you, and i did not even change anything inside the file.

So our problem is the extraction and packing.

However, i think this can also have to do with the "dayz.biKey" file not beeing valid anymore, or something with this "HiveEXT.dll" file.

Any input from anybody :)

It might just be the tools we are using, there might be new/other versions out there these days.
