Bad Version, Sever rejected connection

Pretty much all severs i try to join say this "Bad Version, Sever rejected connection " but i have everything up to date, i have re installed arma 2 and arma 2 oa, i have re installed dayzcommander and i have manually put the file in to the @dayz folder and nothing is working can someone help ?

Can you show us a screenshot of your main menu in game?

On the bottom right corner there should be the version. That's all we need ATM.

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem, and after searching the forum I can't find any answers.

In the main menu the bottom right corner reads:

Version:1.62.95248

DayZ 1.7.4.4

I have been trying to connect both using the in-game menu, and using DayZ Commander. I will attach a screenshot of the version numbers it reads. I used DayZ Commander to install DayZ mod to my Steam downloaded Arma.

Edit: I haven't been able to figure out how to upload a screenshot, so here is DayZ Commander's Install/Update tab's info:

DayZ Commander: 0.9.0.120

Arma 2: 100296

DayZ: 1.7.4.4

By the drop down menu, they all say (Latest)

I had the same problem and managed to fix it.

What I did I tried to enable the In-Game overlay of Steam, when I did that, somehow on any custom map (except the original maps like Chernarus and Takistan) I got the same error message.

Now what to do:

Click on Settings, and there should be Steam options:

There are 2 boxes what can be ticked.

Now you guys probably only have Launch using Steam ticked and this will not work on any custom map, for that you have to tick both of them or none.

None: Will not count the gaming hours what u spend in DayZ

Both: Steam Overlay works (Shift+Tab) and it will count your hours.

PS:If this is not your problem I will check afterwards.
