No items in my inventory. help

fellow survivors/bandits,

For a while now when i respawn, i've been starting out with a backpack, flashlight and a bandage but i don't have any weapons or ammo. This has happened on several servers and i'm wondering. Is this a glitch or is it a part of the game.

(if it's a glitch or bug please tell me how to fix it.)

its a bug: you can solve it easily. just go to a twon and search the ouses for stuff!
