mrperson666 0 Posted June 17, 2012 To satisfy both camps, what if the more North you go, the meaner and faster spawning the zombies get.So on the southern coast, the zombies are like in 1.7.0 and you worry more about player killers. But up north the zombies are like in 1.7.1 and you worry more about zombies.Put better weapons up north, like now only more so, and give the players who like the new super-zombies, or those otherwise seeking more challenge, a direction to go. changrey 2 Posted June 17, 2012 Not sure what sort of game justification you'd use for them, especially since the greater population would be near Cherno/Elektro so that zombie variety would actually be greater there.I do like the idea, but it would have to be handled quite delicately I think. A potential pitfall would be that it would further incentivize bandits to staying near the coast, a big problem with the new defenseless respawns, since the zombies threat would be greater than it is now (obviously). I'd say the current distribution of weapons is ok, no need to focus more on north spawns, they already have places like Stary and the 2 airfields after all. Further risk might not be a bad thing there... Maybe simply give the enhanced sight/movement to Soldier zombies (if at all possible) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The infected would be at different stages of the disease.But if you're a real stickler for logic, you should probably avoid blood transfusions on principle, since logically the blood would need to be kept refrigerated. Latros 1 Posted June 17, 2012 I can see some story/background to making this work...depends on how the IP evolves but based on the IP there could be reasons for some to be stronger... i.e. it started in Stary or NW AF so stronger/mutated soldiers could be there.Im not saying its good or bad but theres possibility.. I do also believe in greater risk for greater reward... currently only risk of greater reward is greater risk of another player. blyndside 0 Posted June 17, 2012 Terrible idea and doesnt make any logical senseActually it does assuming the infection spread from further inland, coastline would become new borns abit slower, weaker because the infection is still spreading.Inland would be older, stronger & more adapted.I like the idea, because i honestly think it's stupid you can crawl right upto a zombie sometimes and them not even notice you, the game (imo, for added realism) should be scavenging at night to survive during the day when the infected can actually see you clearly.
