DayZ FPS Issues

Recommended Posts

So after I got the latest Beta (Build 93825) I've been getting even worse FPS issues than I already had.

On bad servers I get 5-10 and on good ones I get around 10-20fps. Now I've tried to play a few SP Arma II missions and I get 40fps easily there.

Fixes I have tried:

*Several graphic changes in the Config files (Changing HDR and pre rendered frames etc.)

*Added "-nosplash -world=empty -maxmem=4000 -cpucount=4 -exThreads=7" to the Beta cmd.

*Disabeled AA, PP and Vsynch.

Other information:

*Running off the Beta cmd client.

*No difference in performance between 720p or 1080p resolution

*180GB free hard drive space.

*Before the beta patch I had 20-30fps.

Date/Time: 16 and 17 June

What happened: Low FPS

Where you were: Everywhere

What you were doing: Playing the game

*Current installed version: Latest ARMA II patches, DayZ 1.7.1. Beta build 93825

*Server(s) you were on: American and European ones(about 20-30 different ones tried)

*Your system specs:

MS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-but SP-1

Intel Core2 Quat Q955o @ 2.83GHz

4,0GB RAM

Nvida GeForce 9800 GT

*Timeline of events before/after error:

Bad FPS in DayZ to even worse FPS in DayZ after updating, game unplayable.
