corydan 0 Posted January 4, 2013 Hi, I want to know if there is possible to have slow zombies like in STALKER mod.I want to put up a server in which we have no running zombies, but the classic walking ones :)
Spixx 1 Posted January 4, 2013 The proplem about this is that it would be waay too easy.. But of there were more zombies and if they damaged you more, then it could be interesting.
Welch (DayZ) 756 Posted January 4, 2013 I'd rather have walking zombies, but it'd be like the horror movies where they're always behind you, no matter how fast you were going and how slow they're walking.
Cyan-Eyed 3 Posted January 4, 2013 So then they're even easier? And the term "real zombies" doesn't make sense.
The Stoned Wolf 491 Posted January 4, 2013 (edited) Technically they are infected humans, not real, undead zombies, but I see where you're going. The only problem is that, like others have said, it'd be ridiculously easy to outrun them. However I guess if they came from literally everywhere (including the woods) and they could kill you in 4-5 hits it'd be very, very interesting. jamie8e@hotmail.com 15 Posted January 4, 2013 (edited) If you really wanted to do this you would have to download some of the dayz pbo files such as anim.pbo for example(Not sure if its that one exactly but you know) Once you have found the walking speed for the zombies in one of these files after opening it with some sort of pbo editing program you will need to lower it save it and re upload it back to your sever. Now i think changing the zombies speed will require everyone to download a mod add on for your server in order to play as its client side and the players spawn the zombies.Hope this helps at all.
