Onadare 0 Posted January 4, 2013 On a scale from 1 to 10 - how buggy is this game?First of all, the "permanent" gender selection ... I can change my gender everytime I die. On official servers (I filtered the inofficial servers in dayz commander). I don't really care about the gender, but ...Where is my gear?!I logged in just to find out my complete gear is gone. It's the same server I logged off a couple of hours ago. It's not really "valuable" stuff (I'm just playing since yesterday), but this accident kinda scares me from playing dayz anymore. Onadare 0 Posted January 4, 2013 Ok, after some further bugtesting it seems the gear bug is caused by the server i was playing at. I'll just avoid that server (DE 850) for now. It's also marked as "unofficial" now (I'm 100% sure it wasn't before) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
herrjon 478 Posted January 4, 2013 Did your location stay the same or were you back on the coast again? Sometimes those private hives can slip through the cracks and come up as public on commander. You'll know right away if it's private if it prompts you to chose gender. Also a good rule of thumb to not connect to ones that say "DayZ Chenarus" in the server name even if it's under official, those tend to be private hives from my experience.
