Is it possible to add your own objects?

Hi! I was just wondering is it possible to add your own objects like for example buildings to dayz?

I have some experiance in 3d modeling and wanted to add my own models of buildings into my private server. Is it even possible?

You can add in stuff that's already on Arma, but I don't think you can load in your personal models without making a mod, and then I'm pretty sure everyone would also have to download that so they could play on your server.

I'm aware of that I'm gonna have to create some pack with my custom objects and ppl have to download it.. but first of all I wanted to add some random stuff to arma2 / dayz and see if it works
