sheepdawg 278 Posted January 3, 2013 Perhaps grab CCleaner and clean your registry. Run a spyware/virus scan. Disable any rnning startup programs that are useless.I use CCleaner:http://www.piriform.com/ccleanerAnd Spybot Search and Destroy:http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.htmlAfter cleaning my registry etc it seems to make the PC run super smooth. gillotte 1 Posted January 3, 2013 Are you running dayz with dayzcommander? And do you have paging file/virtual memory set to system managed?

Tigerbeetweenie 51 Posted January 3, 2013 Hi, I am running with dayz commander and I am unsure with your last question about virtual memory.Basically, in Windows, it means that your pagefile can shrink or grow according to your memory needs. It's automatically managed by the system, hence the name.
gillotte 1 Posted January 4, 2013 Yes and sometimes to increase disk performance people turn it offbut dayz apparently doesnt like that lol so try turning it to system managed as that eliminated the last glitch ive had since using dayzcommander to reinstall the game and mod.
