Lag issues with very good graphics card

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a Sapphire hd 7870 over clocked to 1250mhz gpu. This card cost 257$ and cannot run this game without lag. I have tried changing .cfg values and other solutions, but the issue remains. Even in low settings I still get lag.

Specs: i5 3rd gen. 3579k

Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Any replies will be appreciated

Perhaps grab CCleaner and clean your registry. Run a spyware/virus scan. Disable any rnning startup programs that are useless.

I use CCleaner:

And Spybot Search and Destroy:

After cleaning my registry etc it seems to make the PC run super smooth.

Are you running dayz with dayzcommander? And do you have paging file/virtual memory set to system managed?

Hi, I am running with dayz commander and I am unsure with your last question about virtual memory.

Hi, I am running with dayz commander and I am unsure with your last question about virtual memory.

Basically, in Windows, it means that your pagefile can shrink or grow according to your memory needs. It's automatically managed by the system, hence the name.

Yes and sometimes to increase disk performance people turn it offbut dayz apparently doesnt like that lol so try turning it to system managed as that eliminated the last glitch ive had since using dayzcommander to reinstall the game and mod.
