jumping through different maps?

Hi,

Havent played this game for 4months and I see there are new maps now. I have only played at cheranus and what happens if I join a server with another map?

Can I server jump between servers with different maps and spawn at the last location I had at that particualar map?

If I'm correct you're asking if you can play on say, Chernarus, switch to a Lingor server (just examples) and go back to said Chernarus server at a later date and have your equipment/start where you left off?

New Map = different Hive so you start from point 0

If you play a different map, you'll basically have 2 or more running characters. Your Chenarus character stays in the same place with the same gear, humanity, kills, etc.

On Lingor Island or whatever map you chose to play, you will have a brand new character, starting at Day 0 at one of the starting spawn points, with 2500 humanity, with whatever starter gear the server gives you (varies from server to server). You can go back and forth from your Chenarus and Lingor characters and they will not affect each other, they will be just how you left them.

It's the same as playing on a Chernaus private hive if you have any experience with those, only different map. Also, all servers that run the other maps are private hives, so you'll probably want to shop around for a good server before you get started.
