Stuck at recieving screen

hello all,

firstly im sorry to start a new topic about this when there are planty of others, but they havnt helped me.

i have recently started playing DayZ and found that every 5-10 mins the screen goes black with the word 'Recieving...' in the middle, i can still hear sounds and get attacked. anybody know a fix for this?

i have all graphical options set to the lowest except video memory and i am using Steam with this as target:

There should be a sticky guide for glitch fixes. I had this very same problem and other glitches. I downloaded dayzcommander(had been using six) reinstall arma and dayz using it to the newest version and that got rid of all but 1 glitch. The dreaded flashing receiving glitch. That I fixed by changing my paging file/virtual memory from none to system managed. Open a folder on the left side right click on computer and select properties, then advanced system settings(it should open to the advanced tab) then click performance then advanced then under virtual memory click change. Pick system managed click ok then restart computer. Should work fine.

ps: can also install other maps for dayz which is nice but cant on six i dont think?

Gillotte, thank you so much, the paging file thing worked perfectly, so far no more getting stuck at receiving screens
