drpoonhammer 48 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Are you talking about your monitors refresh rate?If so it's probably due to the fact that Arma 2 doesn't support 120hz. Edited January 2, 2013 by Dr.PoonHammer
uNd 0 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Oh, is that for sure? cause some of my friends told me that they play it at 120.. Edited January 2, 2013 by uNd
John69 64 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Arma 2 (Dayz) is NOT like a regular FPS, if you can maintain +30 FPS in Dayz you are good to go. This is NOT CSS,not BF3 . Test for youre self, even if you have a fancy 120Hz gaming monitor dosent mean you will play all games at +120 FPS. :)EDIT: Vsynch off ofcourse Edited January 2, 2013 by John69
infke 5 Posted January 6, 2013 (edited) You should be able to manually change it in the config file. You should be able to find most information on how to do that in this thread: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?110241-Question-ARMA-OA-Smoothness-on-a-120hz-monitor@John69: Screen refresh rate and fps aren't the same things. Vincenzo (DayZ) 97 Posted January 6, 2013 Erm probaly a setting in NVIDIA Settings. And mate, if you get 60FPS at DayZ, you shouldnt be asking for more, 90% get 15 FPS.and yes FPS and Hz isnt the same yehyeh blablalba I know it, if you run it at 60Hz you cant see the diffrence between 60FPS and 120FPS.
