Wasteland map?

This may be the most obvious thing ever. But I see all of these people on Youtube and TwitchTV playing DayZ and I see them playing the map "Wasteland" I am unsure if this is the original map, and just has a nickname, or if it's a map that is downloadable but isn't yet on DayZ Commander. I would really like to figure out if this is an entirely new map, and help would be appreciated. ~Trip

It's not a map. It isn't even dayZ.

Wasteland is a mission that you can play without downloading anything special. Just start operation arrowhead and join a wasteland server.

Wasteland is NOT part of DayZ in ANY way. Its an ARMA II mod. Run ARMA II OA, go to multiplayer, filter, type 'wasteland' in the mission field and then search. Good to go.

Yeah I am loving wasteland, lots of vehicles base building and such. If only DayZ was somewhat like wasteland.

DayZ + gives you the ability to build bases now. More weapons. More clothing. Check it out.
