Can someone explain this for me?

Recommended Posts

I am playing again Day Z after a long break and i join a server it seems that they are on a private hive.

But the strange part is that it doesn't show in the server name.

Is every server on a private hive?

Not all private hive servers have private hive in the name, lol. You can use DayZ Commander to see official/unofficial servers.

You mean: Hide unofficial?

Its checked, and the server is still in the server list.

Server name: DE 3714 Timerift by g-portal.de

That's strange. :S

Maybe it was on the main hive and recently changed to private?

Is that the only logical explanation?

It happened this week 2/3 times.

It's the only logical explanation that I can think of, I could be wrong though.

The main hive is still up and running although the majority of players do prefer to find a nice private hive server and call it home these days.
