New Character Every Time

I have searched the net far and wide, high and low but have not found a solution for this.,

I have Arma II CO using Steam but use Six Launcher to play DayZ. I obtained everything using only the links on the website, so everything is "vanilla".

Prior to 1.7.4.4 I have not had this problem. In fact, the character created prior to 1.7.4.4 did not suffer any effects.

So what am I talking about?

Every time I log into a new server, I am using a different character.

Sometimes they even load with guns and maps and... alien things.

I do not want this.

I just want Vanilla DayZ.

You load with nothing but a flashlight, and have a persistent character across all servers.

It seems as though I am using people's wn modded version of DayZ, but Six Launcher is supposed to be set up to reject those.

Please help!

Are on public hives?

Edit: That picture has you favorited a private hive, private hives only store you character on that server. Public hives can be used on every other public.

Ty, other than typing in "Public" as a filter, is there a way to hide the private servers?

edit: The problem appears to be persistent ... I spawned underneath a house, for one.

Tried several public servers, all spawn a different character. Some with guns. yuck.

I don't think there is way to hide private, just keep trying for a public. (The house is probably a spawn that's f*cked up)

there is a checklist on the left side that says hide unofficial servers just check that and refresh servers.

I've decided to use DayZ Commander.

Uninstalled OA, reinstalled (all via Steam) installed DZC, installed Vanilla DayZ, patched Arma 2,

Filtered (Hide unofficial) and to my preferences,

Ran on several servers, FIXED!

Seriously, never mind MP through Arma OA, Never mind Six Launcher - DayZ Commander is the way to go. Soooooo much more finely tunned. I can chose the time of Day! Night S.t.a.l.k.e.r. FTW!
