Dayz 2017 survival gameplay

Recommended Posts

My experience in 2017 went like this: Spawn in cherno with a normal dayz skin and pack, raid the grocery store and get 5 food and water cans along with an alice pack, find a m1911 with 4 mags for it in the red brick building adjacent to the grocery, run around cherno finding no one for 30 mins, then I logged.

Super hardcore.

It sounds like you did not install the MOD correctly. I don't think the ALICE pack is in 2017, and the skins and starter pack are different from vanilla DayZ.

My experience is that I ran around for a day desperately looking for a can of food or a box of matches. I checked every store, barn, and major residential I could with no luck and finally died from starvation.

gotta say i was unimpressed with 2017...

its like a apoc real estate viewing sim. u run around checking hundreds of empty buildings hoping to find anything useful.

i like the artwork and the idea, but somehow the execution just isnt fun to play.

dont think i'll ever try it again.

shame cuz i loved the character models. that part was superb.

Why do people play this? DayZ is enough of a jogging simulator as it stands, but 2017 just looks super boring to me.
