Bandit for no reason?

Okay, here's my problem:

A few months ago I played DayZ and i had got 7000+ humanity! I loved the hero skin!

Then my harddrive crashed and I had to buy a new one. I redownloaded DayZ and Arma II: CO and installed it.

I was playing DayZ again on a private Server.

Yesterday I joined a hive server and I had got a bandit skin? I really don't want to be a bandit and in all my time of playing DayZ i have really killed NO PLAYER! Not even a Bandit! That's unfair.

Cause of the new Patch I can't see my humanity.

Any suggestions? Would the reinstallation of Arma II: CO help?

No, just do things that increase your humanity...

Edit: If you can't get your humanity up (after trying) then try to re-install Arma II: Operation Arrowhead

Is it possible that a normal player now starts with 0 humanity? Maybe my "account" was deleted.

You start with 0 and you could be playing on a private hive or you used to play on a private hive.

I mean I think 0 is neutral and there is - and + now and you said you account may have been deleted, it could just be on some private hive server you forgot about.

Edit: It could just be a glitch you started as a bandit but, this is off topic, I do recommend private hives as scripters can't take their hacked weapons over from a non-battleye server.

Nope, the hero skin was definitely on a official server. And as far as I know you begin with 2500 Humanity! Has this been changed?

Btw, do I have to die to get the normal survivor skin after gaining enough humanity?
