Blood level won't keep updated

Quite an annoying bug which will stop me from playing until it's fixed:

i got attacked by some Zeds, lost some blood, bandaged, nothing unusual. Then I move away from the area where I was attacked, I was at about 6 bloodlevel, so I eat enough meatsteaks to go back to 11.9k bloodlevel, I then proceed to keep playing for about half an hour, I log out. When I log back in an hour or so later, my blood is at the same 6k again. So I eat my remaining steaks, keep playing for at least 45 mins, log out, log back in a while after and BAM, again at 6k...

So somehow my bloodlevel won't update when I eat steaks or anything else, even though the food disappears out of my inventory.

Can we get a fix on this plz?
