Many people are spawning in a open field waste land...

No trees, no zombies, no land marks, just an open field. I joined a server and I spawned there, tried joining other servers 1.7.1 with the current beta and I still spawn in the waste lands. Others players are being spawned there too and everyones shooting at each other...I have the recent beta and files installed. Wth is going on?

I fixed myself by deleting and reinstalling DayZ mod files after patching to beta 93825 again.

i installed everything correctly. Still doesnt work. I downloaded the beta and patch last night and joined a server this morning. I was at the correct spot. Then i logged out, joined another server and I got spawned in the wastelands. Now every server, i spawn in the waste lands for some reason.

I think that's the new debug forest if I'm not mistaken. You can try running to the edge (should take about 5 minutes) or just join several different servers until one spawns you back in Chernarus.

You installation is cool, your record on the database screwed up.

Kill your guy ("Respawn") or run back to the map, should be in the EAST in think.

Oh and FYI: Use the search function or people will call you names.

I was the same way. What I did besides running like other people are saying is change your player profile name and log back in and i was back to my original spot. Good luck!

3rd time its happened to me. Annoying thing is other people spawn there and just shoot you before u load up...

I died there earlier with NVG M4A3 CCO etc

No biggy tho.

Running back to the map will take you 1hour 40minutes - 2hours and 3/4 Food & Water. If you dont have these or have shit gear just kill yourself its easier.

Remember guys its an Alpha test dont get all bitch fit when you loose your gear

I had thus happen where I was in done open grass land.

I simply re spawned. It killed my character but I can play the game now :)
