Logos (DayZ) 0 Posted December 30, 2012 I've been playing Dayz from the beginning, however great a game it may be these are crucial weaknesses:Aiming and moving the crosshairs is not smooth or fast enough, I would like to see some improvement soon because I feel drugged when trying to rapidly aim on a target.(The crosshairs continue to drft after moved, They need to be smoother and more stable)Zombies are just annoying, PvP is good but PvZ is important as well, as of now zombies are merely obstactles. They need to be less glitchy, a little more predictable, and need new sounds.

patriots20068@yahoo.com 100 Posted December 30, 2012 The zombies are to be address in the standalone, I think. As far as the aiming is, just mess with your settings. There is the mouse sensitivity then mouse smoothness or whatever. Also there's the dead zone option I think its called? Mess with those settings to your liking. falcon2500 14 Posted December 30, 2012 (edited) ^ what he said +Don't forget that this is based on a simulator if your looking for(at a?) 360 degree no scope head shot fast aim like in COD this is not the game for you lol. TheSushi 28 Posted December 30, 2012 It's really not the fault of the mod devs or the Arma devs. Arma II is designed around a far slower and more methodical manner of play, hence the slower and more precise weapon controls. The zombies have speeds that were never meant for the game to manage, so the weapons handling will need to be tweaked accordingly in standalone. Steak and Potatoes 13480 Posted December 30, 2012 Winchester hip fire does the trick for me looks bad ass and seems to always be on point zeds or players wise.
