Got banned, Buying new copy need answers

Hey,

my friend tried to install dayZ single player(with cheat engine... he just don't know shi1 about computer lol) and got banned. Now he wants to buy a new copy of the game. My question is:

Do he needs to make another steam account? Will he be able to play with a new copy of the game?

I wasn't able to find my question in any other post... I don't know what to search lol

First off, how in the hell do you install with Cheat Engine? I don't even think that's an install option. Cheat Engine is used for hacking games. And you'll only get banned if you're using it in the MP. Because if you're playing SP Battleye is not active.

Second, to answer your question, yes he'll have to make another Steam account. Make another steam account, buy the game, launch the game from the new Steam account, switch back to your old account, DON'T LAUNCH THE GAME FROM THE OLD STEAM ACCOUNT (IMPORTANT), launch the game via Six Launcher or DayZ Commander (the best DayZ launcher out there).

Ask him lol I don't even know maybe he tried to hack or whatever but anyway that's what he told me, and the reason why I post this instead of him is because he doesn't speak english very well lol.

So basically he should never open dayZ or even arma 2 with is old steam account and only use his new. Thanks for the quick answer.

Edit: Just to know, if he open dayZ from dayZcommander and his old steam account is open, the game will then open on his old and ban his new CD KEY right? Also if he install arma 2 only on his new account does it install on his old account as well?

Yes. He should never launch DayZ from the Steam account that got banned. Also, launch the game through Six Launcher/DayZ Commander. Having a third party launcher is the norm for everyone. Also, DayZ Commander installs everything for you. Just click install and it does the work. I consider DayZ Commander to be the best launcher for DayZ.

If your 'friend' needs to cheat at dayz why doesnt he go play some other game that he is good at?

If you need cheats to play dayz you obviously arent very good at it.

Its a shame that hackers can just go and buy a new copy. <_<

SiiriXX you have a very bad attitude. And my 'friend'(obviously you think it's me) is 95% unfamiliar with PC and doesn't even speak english so how could he know what CHEAT ENGINE means lol. That's pretty obvious to us but for him it was just a way to install DayZ single player.

DayZ doesn't have single player, 'your friend' either got his key stolen by downloading some hack for single player or got caught using cheat engine in multi player.
